Benazir Kafaalat Payment Increased to Rs. 14,500 in April 2026
Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme, Senator Rubina Khalid, announced an increase of Rs. 1,000 in the quarterly financial aid of all BISP programs, including the Benazir Kafaalat Program. This is to provide relief to low-income families and empower women, which is the main target of BISP.
Previously, the official quarterly payment installment for the Benazir Kafaalat Program was Rs. 13,500. Now, BISP has increased the stipend to Rs. 14,500.
This was much-needed as inflation and the cost of living are continuously increasing in the country. This increase will benefit 10 million registered beneficiaries across Pakistan.

How Much Will Benazir Nashonuma Beneficiaries Get in April 2026?
Approximately 40 percent of kids under five years old are underweight and malnourished due to poverty. The Benazir Nashonuma program has 43 lac beneficiaries, including 12 lac women and children. Chairperson Rubina Khalid has also announced an increase of Rs. 500 for both pregnant women and children. The pregnant woman or boy child will now receive Rs. 2,500, while the girl child will receive Rs. 3,000.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Stipend Increase for April 2026
The government has also announced a Rs. 500 increase per student for registered students of the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program. However, 70 percent attendance is mandatory. This is to increase attendance in schools and decrease school dropouts.

How Much Can a Family Receive if Enrolled in Multiple BISP Programs?
Many BISP beneficiary families are enrolled in more than one program at the same time. A family that qualifies for Benazir Kafaalat (Rs. 14,500 quarterly), Benazir Nashonuma (Rs. 2,500–3,000 per child/pregnant woman), and Benazir Taleemi Wazaif (Rs. 2,500–5,000 per child depending on education level) can receive a combined total significantly higher than the base Kafaalat amount, depending on the number of eligible children and their education levels. Official Payment Schedule for April 2026
To prevent overcrowding-related incidents at BISP Tehsil Offices — including one reported in Bahawalpur — BISP is distributing the April 2026 payments in three separate phases across the country. The phases below (H3) outline how this schedule is being rolled out by region and verification status.
First Phase
BISP will distribute the payments in major districts and cities, like Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Karachi, Hyderabad, Peshawar, and Quetta.
Second Phase
